AEDP therapy is effective with a variety of psychological symptoms including: depression, emotion dysregulation, automatic negative thoughts, experiential avoidance, and interpersonal problems.
AEDP therapy is also effective in enhancing positive functioning such as: self-compassion, well-being and self-esteem and it can help you overcome painful low self-worth and learn to value yourself. When you have a strong positive sense of self, it becomes easier to honor your needs and wants while also honoring others.
